Day 10 — Every day I choose you


Every single day mas nagiging malinaw sa’kin kung bakit ikaw yung pinipili ko araw-araw. Not because everything is always easy, but because loving you feels right. I’m genuinely glad you existed sobraa, me is glad that this world had a place for you and somehow, yung lugar na 'yon led you to me. Sa mga simpleng moments at sa mga tahimik na araw, ikaw yung choice na paulit-ulit kong ginagawa, hindi out of habit, kundi out of love. Every day, I choose you and I don’t get tired of that choice.

As your birthday gets closer, mas lalo kong gusto ipaalala sa’yo kung gaano ka-special yung existence mo, hindi lang sa buhay ko kundi sa lahat ng taong mahal ka. You deserve to be celebrated, not just on that day, but in every moment you exist. I’ll keep choosing you, support you, understand you and love you more as the days go by. I’m grateful for you, for your heart and for simply being you. 


Mahal kita sa paraan na gusto ko, hindi dahil kailangan ko.

Day 3 — Through Every Storm You don’t always open up about what you’re going through. May mga pagkakataon na mas pinipili mo na lang manahimik, kimkimin ang bigat or pinagpapatuloy ang lahat na parang okay ka lang. Kahit pagod ka na, kahit something bothering you, you still choose to move forward. That kind of quiet strength, na the way you endure without needing to talk about it, like sinasabi mon na "hayaan nalang 'yon" that is something I deeply admire about you pero not all the times, kasi minsan yung word na "hayaan mo na" is parang ini-invalidate mo ang feelings ko na dapat is hindi, ang dami mo ng pinagdaanan and hindi dapat hayaan yung iba doon. Kaya I always say sayo na magsabi ikaw saakin if something is bothering you kasi minsan is hinahayaan mo nalang, but I see you trying na magsabi and me is so proud of you because of that.  Nakikita kita, mahal. Day 4 — How you became my safe place   Hindi ko namalayan kung kailan nangyari pero unti-unti, ikaw na ang pahinga ko. Sa mga araw na magulo ang isip ko at mabigat ang mundo, presence mo pa lang parang nagiging okay at magaan na lahat. Hindi mo kailangang magsabi ng marami kasi yung pakikinig mo, yung tahimik mong pag-intindi, is enough na 'yon for me. With you, I don’t feel the need to pretend or be strong all the time.
