Day 8 — I saw forever in you


Hindi ko talaga inakala na makikita ko ulit yung salitang forever sa isang tao. For the longest time, I kept my distance from that idea — hindi dahil ayaw ko magmahal, kundi dahil natuto akong mag-ingat. I learned how to protect myself, how to be okay on my own and how not to expect too much from love.

Pero nung dumating ka, lahat ng takot na ’yon at pangangamba ay nawala. Dahil sa’yo, nagbago yung pananaw ko — hindi lang sa love, kundi sa buhay mismo. You made me see things with more hope, more clarity. With you, forever doesn’t feel scary or unrealistic anymore. It feels like something I can actually imagine, something I want to build. Ang gaan pala sa pakiramdam, kasi for the first time in a long while, I’m not afraid to believe in that — basta ikaw yung kasama. That’s when I realized, I saw forever in you.


Mahal kita, lagi't lagi.

Day 3 — Through Every Storm You don’t always open up about what you’re going through. May mga pagkakataon na mas pinipili mo na lang manahimik, kimkimin ang bigat or pinagpapatuloy ang lahat na parang okay ka lang. Kahit pagod ka na, kahit something bothering you, you still choose to move forward. That kind of quiet strength, na the way you endure without needing to talk about it, like sinasabi mon na "hayaan nalang 'yon" that is something I deeply admire about you pero not all the times, kasi minsan yung word na "hayaan mo na" is parang ini-invalidate mo ang feelings ko na dapat is hindi, ang dami mo ng pinagdaanan and hindi dapat hayaan yung iba doon. Kaya I always say sayo na magsabi ikaw saakin if something is bothering you kasi minsan is hinahayaan mo nalang, but I see you trying na magsabi and me is so proud of you because of that.  Nakikita kita, mahal. Day 4 — How you became my safe place   Hindi ko namalayan kung kailan nangyari pero unti-unti, ikaw na ang pahinga ko. Sa mga araw na magulo ang isip ko at mabigat ang mundo, presence mo pa lang parang nagiging okay at magaan na lahat. Hindi mo kailangang magsabi ng marami kasi yung pakikinig mo, yung tahimik mong pag-intindi, is enough na 'yon for me. With you, I don’t feel the need to pretend or be strong all the time.
